Working from Home Guidance

At this stage government guidance remains that where employees can work from home then they should continue to do so. Around 45% of the workforce has worked from home at some point during the pandemic.

In the COVID-19 Spring Roadmap, published back in February, the government advised that the current position on working from home where possible will continue until step 4, which will, hopefully, commence on 21 June 2021.

It is still not clear whether that guidance will be revoked or amended from 21 June 2021. If you are operating home working and, have not already done so, it is important to have a homeworking policy in place to outline the parameters of the arrangement.
