Our Essential Recruitment Guide is now available for retained clients. This includes a reminder of the key steps to take when going through the recruitment process, including the need to complete Right to Work Checks, when to use medical questionnaires, and the requirement for conditional job offers.

It also serves as a reminder to focus upon probationary periods in the months ahead since, as a consequence of the reduced qualifying period for unfair dismissal claims, anyone recruited on or before 1 July 2026 will have the right to bring a claim if dismissed from 1 January 2027 onwards.

The guide also includes a template medical questionnaire and conditional job offer, and all  of these documents can be found through our HR zone via the top right-hand corner of this web page.
