New Minimum Wages Rates

Minimum wage rates increase significantly from 6 April 2026 and will be as follows:
Age 21 and over (National Living Wage): £12.71 per hour (previously £12.21)
Age 18 to 20: £10.85 per hour (previously £10.00)
Age 16 to 17: £8.00 per hour (previously £7.55)
Apprentice rate: £8.00 per hour (previously £7.55)
Accommodation offset: £11.10 per day (previously £10.66)
You should review hourly pay rates to ensure compliance and update employment contracts or payroll policies where necessary.
