The national minimum wage will receive a further substantial increase in 2024 and employers in many industries will be budgeting for this during the early part of next year.
From April 2024 the rates will be as follows:
Aged 21 and over: £11.44
Aged 18-20: £8.60
Aged 16-17 and apprentices: £6.40
