There has been a marked increase in mental health issues during recent years.

It is important for employers to take employees' mental health problems seriously and to make reasonable adjustments, particularly where mental health conditions may amount to a disability. Acas has published new guidance upon handling reasonable adjustments for mental health issues at work, setting out the relevant considerations and practical steps that might be taken.
